Hi my name is Kevin and I am trying to get help with a home loan. The home I am living in now I have the opportunity to purchase it for $27,000 and two years ago it appraised at $70,000. However, I thought I had everything in order, but I have learned that I shouldn't always assume anything. In December of 2003, I had a heart attack and lost the home that I was in as well as a car and several things. I didn't have any health insurance, so I also have almost $60,000 in medical bills. Can you imagine what my credit looks like. I have found that I cant even rent due to people running credit checks. I am a hard worker and will do anything to keep my family here. I don't want to have to change school districts and things of that sort for the kids. I have two boys and a girl. My boys are in 6th and 2nd grade and my girl will start school next year. My wife and I are at loss, we only have until October 4th to get financing or move. Can anyone tell me were to get help? I have tried several banks and mortgage companies, and have been turned down.
